Medical Debt Excluded from Credit Reporting

The Office of Governor Matt Meyer made a press release to notify the implementation of Senate Bill 156, which prohibits medical debt being included on consumer credit report, according to Delaware News. Governor Matt Meyer states “with this law now in effect, we’re helping thousands of Delawareans breathe a little easier and ensure that no one’s financial future is destroyed because they got sick or needed care.”
