Hub History

Launched in 2015 under the direction of Lynn Quincy, the Healthcare Value Hub has been a convener of experts discussing policies and practices to improve health care systems and make care more affordable, fair, and accessible for over a decade. Prior to joining the Altarum Institute, the Hub was housed at Consumers Union.

Past events included annual conferences in New Orleans covering a variety of topics, with speakers from prominent health policy organizations all over the country from states across the political spectrum, offering research insight into healthcare cost drivers and strategies to contain costs, increase quality, and ensure affordable access to care for consumers.
