Arkansas Creates Diabetes Data Mart Tool Tracking Utilization and Impacts

Arkansas has created a Diabetes Analytic Data Mart to support diabetes research, reports Arkansas Center for Health Improvement. Leveraging the state’s All Payer Claims Database, the tool contains information on insurance enrollment and medical and dental healthcare utilization among Arkansans with diabetes, including expenditures on medical and pharmacy services, the impacts of continuous insurance coverage, and medication cost impacts.
