Gov. Jared Polis approved a plan for the Colorado School of Public Health to design model legislation for a statewide universal health care system, reports Becker’s Payer Issues. The selected model must prioritize comprehensive health benefits, including dental, mental health, long-term care, and reproductive health services, while avoiding deductibles or copays.
