Report: Health Gaps Persist for American Indian, Alaska Native Coloradans

American Indian and Alaska Native residents in Colorado still face significant gaps in health care access, quality and outcomes, reports Public News Service. A recent analysis of the Colorado All Payer Claims Database found that between 2018 and 2024, these communities experienced much higher rates of kidney disease, diabetes, and other chronic conditions compared to white Coloradans.
