Idaho Mandates Enhanced Breast Cancer Screening Coverage

Starting in July, Idaho law will require health insurance providers to cover the cost of enhanced breast cancer screening for certain women, reports  Idaho News 2. The new law establishes provisions regarding breast cancer screening, requiring that the minimum coverage provided must include all costs associated with one supplemental breast cancer screening every year in instances where a person is believed to be at an increased risk of breast cancer due to factors specified in the bill language.
