Indiana Sets Maximum Prices for Certain Nonprofit Hospitals

Indiana will limit maximum prices for certain nonprofit hospitals, reports 21 Alive News. Under House Bill 1004, Indiana’s largest nonprofit hospitals must reduce their prices for inpatient and outpatient services down to the statewide average or forfeit their nonprofit status. Proposed cuts for select hospitals range from 30-41%.
