NC awarded $213 Million for then Rural Health Transformation Program

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) awarded the state of NC with $213 million in federal aid to Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP), reports the NCDHHS. The funds will be allocated to enhance health access for more than three million rural residents in North Carolina during 2026, as well as to support eligibility for further funding over the subsequent five years.
