Ohio Passes Hospital Price Transparency Bill

Indiana has passed bills instituting new price transparency requirements for hospitals, reports Cleveland.com. Under House Bill 173, hospitals are required to post a consumer friendly list of standard prices for at least 300 shoppable services, including both the sticker price and what patients would owe under various insurance plans. Many of these disclosure requirements are already in federal law.
