Washington Caps SEHP Reimbursements

Washington has passed a bill limiting hospital prices for state and public school employees beginning January 2027, reports the Public News Service. Senate Bill 5083 caps reimbursement rates for roughly 700,000 people covered by the Public Employee Benefits Board and School Employees Benefits Board. Under the law, reimbursement caps are determined based on a variety of factors, including Medicare benchmarks.
